David Whyte uses the metaphor of a sea voyage to explore the deeper meaning of life, work and individuality. He challenges us to examine whether work taps into our deeper life purpose, to reflect on "...not only what we have done, but who we have become while accomplishing the task." Crossing the Unknown Sea challenges us to re-ignite our zest for work and life often lost in the crush of everyday demands and deadlines and to refocus on what really matters.. My highlighter ran dry on this one.
